On receipt of this call, appliances from St. Columb and St. Dennis were mobilised, on arrival the crew found smoke issuing from the cellar of a semi detached two storey cottage, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and used two high pressure hosereel jets to extinguish the fire, the thermal image camera was also used at the incident. Crews were delayed for a time damping down hot spots.
