Gorse Fire

One fire appliance from Newquay, one fire appliance from Truro and a water carrier from Wadebridge Community Fire Stations attended a gorse fire that was spreading towards buildings.
A total of 13 firefighters were at the scene using beaters and hosereels to extinguish the fire by 1640hrs. The fire crews remained at the scene for a further one hour damping down hotspots.
