Two crews with a total of seven crew from Looe attended a call to a fire in Ladies toilet on a camp site near Looe. The toilet block measured 2 x 3 metres and smoke was issuing on the crews arrival. Crews entered the building wearing breathing apparatus one hose reel and a carbon dioxide fire extinguisher. Looe crews requested a second appliance attend for use of its positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke from the building. One crew of four from Lostwithiel who were en route to Looe for standby were redirected to the incident. After investigation it was established the cause of this fire was a faulty hand dryer.
