On receipt of this call stating that a car had crashed into a barn, both appliances from Newquay were mobilised, on arrival the crew found the vehicle well alight and the fire had involved the barn, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used two high pressure hosereels and a dry powder extinguisher to extinguish the fire. The occupants of the vehicle had fled the scene. Devon & Cornwall Police were in attendance and with a police dog searched the area.
