A crew from Newquay Community Fire Station were mobilised to a small fire in a waste bin located inside the ladies public toilets. The crew were able to quickly extinguish the fire using a hosereel and then cleared the building of smoke using the positive pressure ventilation fan.

This was arson suspected and the Police have been informed.
