At 1347 today Fire Control received a call to a house fire. 2 appliances from St Austell attended. On arrival they found smoke issuing from the ground floor lounge. 2 firefighters wearing breathing apparatus and using 1 hosereel extinguished the fire. Several persons from the property were treated by South West Ambulance crews for smoke inhalation. There are no further details relating to this incident
