After receipt of this call an appliance from Helston and an officer with a gas detector were mobilised, on arrival firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the property and a reading was shown on the dector. The occupants who had already evacuated the premises were unable to stay in the building and the premises were due to be checked over to detect the cause.
