Ten fire crew on two major appliances from St Ives attended a call to a fire in a single storey building 70 x 30 m used as a swimming pool and leisure complex. The fire was located in the manes changing rooms and crews used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish the fire. Once extinguished crews used a positive pressure ventilation fan to clear smoke from the building. After investigation the cause of this fire is believed to be arson suspected. Police have been informed and are attending.
