Fire In Flat - Person Sustained Burns

Firefighters from Penzance Community Fire Station were mobilised following a report from an alarm receiving centre of a smoke detector actuation in a flat.
On the arrival of the firefighters, they found there had been a small fire in the flat, that was already out. However, an occupant had suffered burns and they were left in care of ambulance personnel.
There is no further information available from Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service at this time about this incident, particularly in relation to the condition of the casualty.
