On receipt of this call, two fire appliances from Camborne Community Fire Station were mobilised. On their arrival there was found to be a fire in a single-storey dwelling. Teams of firefighters wearing breathing apparatus entered the premise with a high pressure hosereel to extinguish the fire by 0125hs. A positive pressure fan was used to ventilate the premises. Two casualties were conveyed to hospital by ambulance, suffering the effects of smoke inhalation.
