The Fire Service received a call to a strong smell of burning in a property in Torpoint.
Two appliances from Torpoint and one from Saltash along with a Wholetime Officer were mobilised to the incident.
On arrival the crews discovered a mains electric box into the building was smoking. Crews isolated the box and western power was contacted to attend.
Crews from Torpoint are still standing by at this incident awaiting arrival of Western power overhead team.
