At 0727 the fire service received a call to flooding in Trerice Drive. One pump from Newquay with a crew of six were mobilised. On arrival they found a large water main burst with two to three properties affected. They requested a further pump to attend this incident, so the second pump from Newquay was also mobilised. Crews diverted the water away from the properties using light portable pumps. South West Water isolated the mains water supply and Police were also in attendance.
