On the initial call for this incident, one appliance from Camborne was mobilised. On arrival crews found aproximately 50 metres of gorse alight, also another area in the vicinity was alight, the fire was fanned by strong winds and further resources from Camborne, Penzance and St. Ives were mobilised. The fire was extinguished using beaters. Approximately three quarters of an acre was involved, arson was suspected, Devon & Cornwall Police have been informed.
