A total of ten firefighters from Mevagissey were mobilised to a reported caravan fire at 0448. On arrival crews found a small fire in the battery compartment of the caravan. Crews using two breathing apparatus used one positive pressure ventilation fan to clear the caravan. An ambulance was also requested for one female casualty suffering smoke inhalation.
