Two appliances from Truro attended this incident at their arrival crews were faced with a small kitchen fire, crews used two breathing apparatus and a hosereel to extinguish. Crews ventilated and carried out community fire safety in the area.
It is believed the fire was caused by a candle that was left burning all night on a table. The Fire Brigade urge that extreme care is taken if candles are lit and they must not be left unattended.
