On receipt of this call, appliances from St. Columb and St. Dennis were mobilised, on arrival crews found that the fire, was fortunately extinguished. The fire involved the kitchen extraction equipment, crews monitored the area using the thermal image camera and awaited the arrival of an engineer.
One person at the scene was treated by Cornwall Fire & Rescue personnel for the effects of smoke inhilation and then transferred by Westcountry Ambulance to hospital.
