On the initial call for this incident, both appliances from Falmouth were mobilised, on arrival further assistance was requested and further appliances from Truro and Redruth, also the Command Support Unit from St. Just were mobilised.
The fire involved a barn measuring 80 by 60 feet, housing two tractors and a caravan, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus were committed and two main jets were in use, crews were quickly able to extinguish the main fire.

Update 1645 hours: Crews are at this time deployed damping down hot spots.

Update 1700 hours: Crews are now making up equipment and will be returning to their home stations shortly.
