Two fire appliances from Truro Community Fire Station with a total of twelve fire-fighters attended a call to a fire in a public house. On their arrival, the crews found a fire in a first floor bedroom of the building, measuring 15 metres by 10 metres. Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hosereel to extinguish the fire. A thermal imaging camera was also used at this incident. Fire officers carried out an investigation once the fire had been extinguished and, at this time, the fire is believed to have been started deliberately.
