We received a number of calls to reports of a fire at Newport Industrial Estate, two crews of four from Launceston were mobilised. On arrival crews requested a third pump, which was sent on from Bodmin. Crews found one single storey building with a fire involving an extraction system and hopper. Crews used four sets of breathing apparatus, one jet and one hosereel to extinguish the fire. This is all the information we have on this incident.
