Approximately 25 firefighters from Helston, Mullion and St Keverne Community Fire Stations are in attendance at a fire involving a barn, measuring 20 metres by 30 metres, containing farm machinery.

The fire was brought under control by firefighters, some wearing breathing apparatus, by 1830hrs. The fire crews remain at the scene damping down.

Update at 2100hrs: All firefighters have now left the scene. An investigation into the cause of the fire has begun and, at this stage, arson is suspected.
