One fire appliance from Polruan Community Fire Station attended with support from one fire appliance from Fowey Community Fire Station (courtesy of the Bodinnick Ferry), a report of a large boat on fire that was out of the water.

Firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used one hosereel to confine the fire to the fo'castle of the 27 metre long boat with a seven metre beam that was located on a slipway. The fire crews were then detained venting the smoke from the boat and damping down, leaving the seen soon after 1300hrs.
