Small Fire On Ship

Two crews from Falmouth with a total of 11 firefighters attended a call to a 10 metre ex military ship which had reportedly caught alight when a workman was welding on board. Crews entered the vessel wearing two breathing apparatus and one hose reel; however the fire was out on their arrival. The vessel was ventilated.
