The initial call for this incident stated that a tractor was on fire and an appliance from Camborne was mobilised, further calls were received and a second appliance from Camborne was mobilised, on arrival there were found to be two tractors and a telehandler well alight, further assistance was requested and the water carrier from Helston was mobilised, teams of firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used high pressure hosereel jets at the scene to extinguish the fires, the thermal image camera was also used. Western Power attended as overhead power lines were involved in the fire. Arson was suspected and a Fire Investigation Officer will attend later this morning. Devon & Cornwall Police were in attendance. Crews were on scene until approximately 0545 hours.
