Between 23:09 hrs and 01:50 hrs on the night of Monday the 6th into the early hours of Tuesday the 7th August six firefighters in one appliance from Penzance attended 3 bin fires and a fourth rubbish fire which had been set in the middle of a street junction. The bin fires were on Britons Hill, Coinage Hall Street and on the beach nr New Street, on St Marys street the fire was set in the road. At each incident crews used one hose reel to extinguish the fire. All these fires have been confirmed as being arson and Devon and Cornwall Police are investigating.
