At 1819 this evening the Fire Service was called to a farm in the London Apprentice area where there was a report of a cow having become stuck in a slurry pit. Two crews from Mevagisey Fire Station along with technical rescue equipment from Camborne, St Austell and saltash attended. The cow was eventually rescued uninjured from the slurry pit using an inflatable rescue pathway .
