Fire Involving Camping Stove

Eight firefighters from Redruth attended a call to a camping stove in which the gas cylinder had set alight. The caller had attempted to smother the fire using a fire blanket, however the fire would not extinguish. The camping stove was in a barn, and crews used a carbon dioxide fire extinguisher and two breathing apparatus to fully extinguish the fire.
