Person Released From Vehicle Following Road Traffic Collision

One fire appliance from St Columb, one fire appliance from Newquay and the rescue tender from Bodmin were mobilised to a report of a road traffic collision with a person trapped.

Ambulance personnel assessed the casualty and requested that the roof of the vehicle be removed to safely free them, without further injury. Firefighters cut the roof off the vehicle and the casualty was released by 2345hrs. Firefighters then made the vehicle and scene safe.
