After a request for assistance, appliances from Truro, Camborne and the line rescue unit from Camborne were mobilised. The incident involved a person who had fallen down a lift shaft. Cornwall Fire & Rescue personnel used specialist line rescue equipment at the scene, the casualty was attended to by hospital staff for neck and back injuries and placed on a rescue stretcher, the incident was protracted because of the nature of the injuries, the casualty was rescued from the shaft by 1442 hours. No further details are available regarding this incident
