On the initial call for this incident, appliances from Liskeard were mobilised, a subsequent call led to the incident being classified as 'Persons Reported' and a further appliance from Looe was mobilised, a total of sixteen personnel attended. On arrival there was found to be a fire in the kitchen of a bungalow, it was quickly confirmed that all persons were accounted for, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a high pressure hosereel and a main jet to extinguish the fire, crews then continued to turn over and damp down, the adjoining property was also checked over for smoke damage The cause was accidental.
