Road Traffic Collision Person Cut Free

Nine firefighters in two appliances from Lostwithiel and a Rescue Tender with six firefighters from Bodmin attended a single vehicle road traffic collision on the A390 at Downend. Fire crews used crash rescue equipment to cut free one female trapped in the car. Once free the casualty was left in the care of Ambulance Paramedics whilst fire crews made the scene safe.
