Twelve firefighters from Torpoint and Saltash attended a fire in a first floor flat. Smoke was issuing from the flat on crews arrival. Firefighters entered the property and used two breathing apparatus and one hose reel to extinguish a fire in the living room. The flat involved in the fire was one in a block of four measuring 15 x 10 metres. Crews ventilated two flats and the occupant of the flat involved was taken to Hospital.
