At 0041 this morning CFRS received a call to a reported fire in the electrical intake of a property.3 appliances from St Ives were sent to investigate. Following an inspection it was discovered that a fire had occurred in the electricity intake of the property on the ground floor. 2 fire fighters wearing breathing apparatus using a co2 fire extinguisher extinguished the fire. A thermal image camera was used to check if the fire was completely out whilst Western Power made the electrical supply safe.
