A39, Nr Winnards Perch roundabout, St Columb at 30/10/2012 17:00

A total of 16 firefighters from St Columb and Wadebridge, and a specilaist crew with a Rescue Tender from Bodmin attended a two vehicle road traffic collision on the A39. The accident was approximately one mile from the Winnards Perch roundabout towards St Columb. One person was trapped in a velicle and fire crews worked using crash rescue equipment to cut the casualty free of the wreckage. Police and Ambulance crews are on scene. Two additional casualties were taken to hospital via land ambulance. Once the casualty had been released crews made the vehicles safe.
