Eleven firefighters from Newquay attended a call to a fire in the kitchen of a public house. The fire involved a ground floor kitchen. Crews used two breathing apparatus, one hose reel and a carbon dioxide extinguisher to put out the accidental fire. Once the fire had been extinguished, a positive pressure ventilation fan was used to clear smoke from the building. View our information on kitchen fire safety.
