The Fire Service received a call to a dog down a mine shaft in Radnor near Redruth. Two appliances from Redruth, one appliance and the rescue tender from Camborne with a Wholetime Officer attended.
On arrival crews set up line rescue once it was determined exactly where the dog was in the shaft. Crews then proceeded to rescue the spaniel and reunite it with its owner. In all 20 personnel where involved in the rescue of the animal.
