On receipt of this call, both appliances from Saltash were mobilised, on arrival the crew found a terraced bungalow heavily smokelogged, the fire was believed to involve the electrics, further assistance was requested, and an appliance from Devon & Somerset Fire & Rescue was mobilised, teams of firefighters wearing breathing apparatus were committed with dry powder extinguishers. An ambulance was requested for a casualty suffering the effects of smoke inhilation. Western Power were also requested to attend. Crews proceeded to ventilate the premises using the positive pressure fan. A fire investigation team are attending to determine the cause of the fire.
