Flooding Update

Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service have been inundated with incidents, which started at approximately 1400 hours on Saturday afternoon, Fire Control have received or acted on over 350 various incidents up to 0600 hours on Sunday.

Cornwall Fire & Rescue Resources from every Station within the County have been involved.

The incidents that Cornwall Fire & Rescue have attended were classified as 'Life Risk' and crews also assisted in major pumping out of properties which were severely flooded.

The High Volume Pump was mobilised to Perranporth to assist in removing a large volume of water from surrounding properties.

Update 0600 hours: Most Fire & Rescue resources have now returned to their home stations.
There is an ongoing flooding incident at Trenear, Helston, with several properties suffering severe flooding, some residents were evacuated, crews from Helston and Camborne are in attendance, crews have been on scene from just after 0300 hours and are using three pumps to remove water from the scene, relief crews from Mullion will be on scene from approximately 0600 hours as the incident will be continuing for some time.

There will be a Press Release later in the day updating all incidents.
