On receipt of this call, resources from Mevagissey were mobilised, on arrival the crews found that there had been a landslide to the rear of several properties, Cornwall Fire & Rescue personnel assisted approximately ten members of the public from their houses, because of the danger, building surveyors were requested to attend to inspect the area, the persons evacuated were making arrangements to stay with friends and relatives.
The incident is ongoing at this time, with Fire & Rescue personnel assessing the situation.
