Flooding Update

The overnight heavy rain did not materialise as expected, however Cornwall Fire & Rescue attended several minor incidents and dealt with calls reassuring members of the public. The main problem arising now for the Fire & Rescue Service is that the ground is saturated and any significant amounts of rain will runoff the land surface and put further pressure on the drainage system and already swollen rivers.
