At 19:33 hrs Cornwall Fire service recieved a request to attend a single vehicle road traffic collision at the bottom of the hill at Rejerrah. A total of twelve firefighters in two appliances from Newquay and six firefighters in Cambornes Rescue Tender were mobilised. The vehicle involved had come off the carriage way and rolled down a steep 15 metre embankment. On fire crews arrival one casualty remained trapped in the vehicle, a second casualty was in the care of Ambulance paramedics. Crews used lines to stabilise the vehicle and two sets of crash rescue equipment to cut the casualty free. Once the casualty was released they were placed in the care of paramedics and crews made the scene safe.
