On receipt of this call, appliances from Camborne and Redruth were mobilised, on arrival there was found to be a confirmed kitchen fire in a semi detached two storey domestic property, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a high pressure hosereel and a CO2 extinguisher to extinguish the fire. The cause was accidental. Crews used the positive pressure ventilation fan to remove smoke from the premises.
