One crew of five firefighters from Truro attended a call to a propane gas cylinder which was leaking. On crews arrival, the 5000 litre propane cylinder was leaking gas from the manifold and firefighters were unable to isolate the leak. Crews used a ground monitor connected to a hydrant to cover the large propane tank to make the scene safer. Crews remained on scene until a gas engineer attended and isolated the leak.
