Landslip Onto Houses

Firefighters from Looe Community Fire Station attended two properties that have been affected by a landslip of a cliff behind them. It was reported that mud and water had entered the properties.
The fire crew ensured that occupants in neighbouring properties were aware of the situation and they assisted with removal of water. A surveyor from Cornwall Council attended to assess.
The B3247, the main road in to Seaton was also affected by subsidence, with large cracks appearing. Motorists are asked to take extreme caution when travelling in this area.
