There have been no significant incidents of note since the last update, however, fire crews have attended two incidents where occupants were concerned about possible carbon monoxide poisoning.
Firefighters from Helston Community Fire Station attended along with ambulance a property where two carbon monoxide detectors had actuated. Readings were taken with a gas monitor but no carbon monoxide was detected. Suitable advice was given.
Firefighters from Fowey Community Fire Station attended a property in St Blazey, where occupants had been feeling unwell and there were concerns that it may be due to carbon monoxide poisoning. No carbon monoxide was detected when checked with a gas monitor and the occupants were advised to have their gas boiler serviced and purchase a carbon monoxide detector.
