Carbon Monoxide

Canworthy Water, Launceston at 23/01/2013 01:45

An appliance from Launceston and a Wholetime Officer attended a property in Canworthy Water on the request of the Ambulance Service due to occupants feeling unwell due to possible carbon monoxide poisoning.

On arrival crews used a gas detector which indicated high readings of carbon monoxide within the property.

Two adults and two children were taken to hospital by ambulance, whilst crews made the property safe by venting using a positive pressure ventilation fan.

Crews also fitted two smoke detectors within the property.
