On receipt of this call, stating that a horse was trapped upside down in a water filled ditch, appliances from Launceston, Bude and Bodmin, also the line rescue appliance from Bodmin were mobilised, on arrival firefighters donned dry suits and the crews used general purpose lines, strops and lengths of hose to successfully rescue the horse, who was taken in to the care of an attending vet.
