At 1900 the Cornwall Fire and Rescue Service received a call to a chimney fire. On arrival the crew from Bude found there to be a fire in the flue of a range cooker. Rods were used to help extinguish the fire and a thermal image camera was also used to ensure that there were no hotspots remaining. There is no further information on this incident.
