On receipt of this call, the incident was treated as 'Persons Reported' and both appliances from Truro and an appliance from Redruth were mobilised, on arrival at the scene, crews found that there was a fire involving a derelict barn, measuring approximately 15 x 20 metres, firefighters wearing breathing apparatus used a high pressure hosereel to extinguish the fire and also used a thermal image camera, three casualties were treated at the scene by West Country Ambulance personnel and then conveyed to hospital. Arson was suspected. Further details may be obtained from Devon & Cornwall Police, who were in attendance.
