At 13:41 Cornwall Fire & Rescue Service received a call to a reported Shire Horse stuck in a mine shaft. On receipt of this call two appliances were mobilised along with the Rope Rescue Vehicle from Camborne. On arrival crews used shovels to remove the edge of the pit and that subsequently created space for the horse to walk out. No more details to report on this incident.
