At 14:52 the Fire & Rescue Service received a call to a reported roof fire. On receipt of this call 2 appliances from Bodmin as well as a wholetime officer were mobilised to attend. On arrival of the crews requested further resources. Two more pumping appliances from Wadebridge & Delabole were mobilised as well two Water Carriers and a further two Ancillary appliances to the incident Fire-fighters used 4 Breathing Apparatus, a main jet, a hose reel jet and a 105 Ladder to extinguish the fire. In all there were 38 fire-fighters involved in the incident, the FESS -Red Cross Vehicle was also mobilised but wasn’t required. The Fire Investigation Team is currently on scene.
